The woman may be prone to urinary discomfort and travel is a risky time.
Our advices :
When traveling, do not forget ...
In a woman prone to urinary discomfort, travel is a risky time.
1. The drink
Water, always water! At least a liter and a half a day. And even more when you sweat.
Explanation: With a sufficient volume of urine, bacteria that can invade the urethra are more easily entrained during urination.
Coffee, tea, wine and beer are to be avoided. Note: Bottled bottled water is recommended in countries where tap water is unsafe.
2. The pee-break
Recommended every 3 hours. It is held without fail, even if the toilets are not super-clean.
Explanation: refraining from urinating increases the risk of concentrating germs in the bladder.
3. Adapted clothing
The right choice: loose clothing, cotton underwear. In particular, it is avoided to ride in a swimsuit.
Explanation: The synthetic fabric on the skin encourages bacterial proliferation in the perineum.
