The origins of the use of the pomegranate :
Originally from Iran, the pomegranate tree grows in the hedges of the Mediterranean region. Known since antiquity, it was not really used in Europe until the last century. The fruit is used to thin the thick blood in classical Arab medicine and the flowers are used as antidiabetic medicines. From its bark is extracted a desired active for the dyeing of oriental rugs.
Pomegranate has been used for centuries by Moroccan women for its dyeing properties. The fresh flowers are used in infusion against asthma. The bark of the trunk is very rich in tannins which fix the color on the keratin and prevent its tarnishing. Its richness in antioxidant polyphenols also helps protect the hair's radiance.
Indications of use :
