Doliprane Tabs 500mg - 16 tablets SANOFI

Doliprane Tabs 500 mg is indicated in case of pain and fever.

The active substance of Doliprane Tabs 500mg is paracetamol. This medicine is used to treat pain and / or fever. For example in case of headaches, flu, dental pain, body aches, painful periods.

Dosage :

This presentation is reserved for adults and children from 27 kg (from about 8 years): read carefully the leaflet, section "Dosage". 

• For children under 27 kg, there are other dosages of paracetamol.
• Child from 27 to 50 kg: the dose of paracetamol depends on its weight. If you do not know the weight of the child, you must weigh it to give the best dose. Paracetamol exists in many dosages, allowing to adapt the treatment to the weight of each child. The recommended daily dose of paracetamol depends on the weight of the child: it is about 60 mg / kg per day, to be divided into 4 or 6 doses, ie about 15 mg / kg every 6 hours or 10 mg / kg all the 4 hours.
• The usual dosage is:
• For children from 27 to 40 kg (approximately 8 to 13 years old), the dosage is 1 tablet of 500mg to be renewed if necessary after 6 hours, without exceeding 4 tablets per day.
• For children weighing 41 to 50 kg (approximately 12 to 15 years), the dosage is 1 tablet of 500 mg, to be renewed if necessary after 4 hours, without exceeding 6 tablets per day.
• Child over 50 kg adult: 1 to 2 tablets per dose (500mg to 1g paracetamol). Do not exceed 3 g of paracetamol per day. In case of more intense pain, and only after consulting your doctor or pharmacist, the dose can be increased up to 4 g per day.
• Be sure to respect the time between 2 intakes.

Method and route of administration :
Oral way.
The tablet is swallowed as is with a drink (eg water, milk, fruit juice). The tablet is contraindicated in children under 6 years because it can swallow crooked and choke. Use another form.

Duration of treatment :
Without medical advice: limited to 5 days in case of pain and 3 days in case of fever.

Warning :
This medicine contains paracetamol. Do not combine with other medicines that contain it so as not to exceed the maximum total daily dose of paracetamol.
