Fervex Children granules for oral solution - UPSA

Fervex Children against flu-like symptoms. 

Fervex Children against flu-like symptoms, colds, rhinitis and rhinopharyngitis is a drug available without prescription.
Each sachet contains 280 mg of paracetamol, 10 mg of pheniramine and 100 mg of vitamin C.

Indications for use and posology :
READ THE PACKAGE LEAFLET BEFORE USE.

Oral use.
Fervex Children is reserved for children from 6 years old, other presentations exist for adults.
Pour the whole bag into half a glass of hot or cold water.
During the flu-like state, prefer warm water and take it during the evening.
This medication may cause drowsiness.
Do not exceed 3 sachets per day.

Frequency of administration :
Space out doses by :
12h for children from 21 to 25kg
8h from 26 to 40kg
6 hours from 41 to 50 kg.
Do not exceed 2 bags/day for children under 26kg and 3 bags/day for children over 26kg.

You can improve the effectiveness of medication therapy by the following measures:

• Wash hands regularly
• Covering your mouth when coughing or sneezing
• Wash nasal cavities regularly with appropriate spray, do not lend them
• Drink enough water
• Regularly ventilate the rooms.

Duration of treatment:
The maximum duration of treatment is 3 days.
Fervex Children granules contains paracetamol. Do not combine with other drugs that contain it to avoid the risk of overdose. A paracetamol overdose can damage the liver irreversibly. This presentation is reserved for children up to 50kg, other presentations are available for adults.

The active substances are:
For a bag:
Paracetamol …. 0.280 g
Ascorbic acid (vitamin C).... 0.100 g
Pheniramine maleate …. 0.010 g
The other components are:
Mannitol (E421), anhydrous citric acid, povidone, anhydrous magnesium citrate, potassium acesulfame, sodium benzoate (E202), raspberry flavour containing orange yellow S (E110), allura red AC (E129), benzyl alcohol, sodium benzoate, ethanol, sucrose acetate isobutyrate (E444).
