Drug to calm dry coughs and irritation coughs
Toplexil sugar-free is a drug to treat dry coughs and irritation coughs. It allows you to spend a quiet night calming cough attacks.
The drug Toplexil is a cough suppressant, which means it stops coughing.
This medication contains 0.33 mg/ml of Oxomemazine.
Indications for use and posology :
READ THE PACKAGE LEAFLET BEFORE USE.
Oral use.
Toplexil sugar-free 150 ml - SANOFI is reserved for adults and children over 2 years old. Respect the doses indicated on the leaflet.
Use the dosing cup to take a dose adapted to your weight, space out the intake at least 4 hours and take Toplexil in the evening preferably:
- Child 13 to 20 kg (2 to 6 years): 5 ml per dose, 2 to 3 times a day,
- Children 20 to 30 kg (6 to 10 years): 10 ml per dose, 2 to 3 times a day,
- Children 30 to 40 kg (10 to 12 years): 10 ml per dose, 3 to 4 times a day,
- Children and adults over 40 kg: 10 ml per dose, 4 times a day.
Duration of treatment :
The duration of treatment is limited to a few days. If symptoms persist after several days, consult your doctor.
Toplexil contains 0.33mg/ml Oxomemazine. Other medicines contain it. Do not combine them, so as not to exceed the recommended daily dose. Never combine with drugs containing cabergoline or quinagolide.
This presentation is reserved for adults and children over 2 years of age.

Oxomemazine…. 0.033 g
The other components are:
Sodium benzoate, glycerol, citric acid monohydrate, sodium citrate, caramel compound flavour (mainly heliotrope (piperonal), vanilla, propylene glycol, alcohol, maltol, water), liquid maltitol, potassic acesulfame, purified water.
