ERGY 3 is an original combination of wild fish oils (anchovies and sardines), rich in omega-3 essential fatty acids (EPA and DHA).
It is recognized that the intake of EPA and DHA at a dose of 250 mg per day supports cardiac function.
When is it advisable?
Omega-3 are considered essential by ANSES*. They provide the body with two types of acids:
Alpha-linolenic acid (ALA) is one of the polyunsaturated fatty acids found mainly in certain vegetable oils (walnut oil, rapeseed, soya, hemp, flax ...) and oilseeds (nuts, flax, almonds ...) . It can not be made by humans and must be brought by food.
It is the precursor of two other fundamental acids:
Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) synthesized by ALA does not cover metabolic needs. It is therefore necessary to find other sources in the diet and especially oily fish.
The same is true for eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA), which is found in abundance in cold-water fish.
The levels of ALA and EPA / DHA are well below the recommendations in our western diet.
Do not hesitate to seek the advice of a health professional.
