Naturophta Lutein is an antioxidant recommended to filter from eyes the blue light emitted in particular by LED bulbs and screens (tablets, televisions, computers, smartphones).

Naturophta Lutein is recommended in case of increased needs or decreased dietary intake of nutrients that come into its composition.

Blue light is a part of the spectrum of light, whose wavelengths are between 380 and 500 nanometers. It is emitted by the sun, but also by artificial light sources: LED bulbs and screens (tablets, televisions, computers, smartphones).

Scientific research has concluded that prolonged exposure to blue light radiation can cause photochemical damage to the retina and lens, and even be a risk factor for AMD.

Naturophta Lutein is a product composed of a combination of lutein and vitamin E, characterized by a gradual and continuous release of its components :

• Lutein is a pigment of the carotenoid family found in the retina where it is particularly concentrated in the central part called macula. It acts as a filter of blue light and probably that of antioxidant insofar as metabolites, resulting from its oxidation, are present in the retina. Lutein is not synthesized by the body.
• Vitamin E is an essential antioxidant since the body does not know how to synthesize it. It helps protect cells from the harmful effects of free radicals. The administration of lutein and vitamin E helps fight against the oxidative stress caused by the release of free radicals at the origin of the damage to cell membranes.

Indications of use :
One tablet a day, or one tablet every 2 days, to swallow whole with a little water in the morning, at breakfast.
Respect the recommended doses.
Keep away from heat, moisture and light.
